Started to feel sick last night...achey, cough, the like. Woke up in the middle of the night feeling like absolute crap....achey ALL over, massive headache, possible kidney infection (as one of them hurts), very tight phlegmy cough, fever.

I rarely get sick, so whatever this is has murdered me. I’ve slept pretty much ALL day today other than like 2 hours. Haven’t eaten anything yet either, so going to risk that in the next bit for supper...

Sorry to hear that. I picked up a cough and phlegm yesterday, was quite relieved to discover I don’t seem to have a fever. I may cut my self-quarantine short: the closest Culver’s has Chocolate Oreo Volcano custard as their flavor of the day today.

I really wanted to have some Ha waiian pizza tonight as friends invited me to a games night, but I am not going to go feeling like this....just making up some simple, bland rice now to give me something in my stomach as I’ve not eaten all day...

most likely... i only have one kid and used to catch every di sease off her courtesy of school.. thankfully shes old enough now to have classmates that will stay home for any little cough or sneeze (or just coz they cant be arsed)

Say, rice... that’s a good idea.

Last night was a rough night in our house. Friday morning our 5 year old started complaining of a store stomach. Spent most of the day puking and with diarrhea . By mid afternoon, the 3 year old started puking too. We were up most of the night with changing pajamas, slowly getting the kids to sip some sports drink (and then they’d grab their water bottles and chug a bunch of water, then puke that up). Both seem to have settled down today, but my 3 year old might actually eat some rice. We figure it was some sort of food poisoning, but we can’t figure out what.
